Pastina Sept. 25, 2010 Anthony F. Pastina of Sugarloaf, and formerly of Mountain Top, passed away Saturday morning at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Luca and Adeline Defilippo Pastina.

He worked for Eberhard Faber formerly of New York and Mountain Top. Anthony started as a packer and later became a general foreman and retired after 31 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge, The Rev. William O'Hara Sept.

27, 2010 The Rev. William O'Hara, of 612 Fern Freeland, died at his residence Sunday morning. He was pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul's Slovak Lutheran Church in Freeland and Hazleton. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cotter-all Petrilli Funeral Home, 706 Birkbeck Freeland.

Sally Erdossy Morton Sept. 25, 2010 Sally Erdossy Morton, 67, of Zion Grove passed away Saturday in Lehigh Valley Hospital. Surviving are his daughter, Adeline Pahler and her husband, Francis, with whom he resided; two grandchildren, Francis A. Pahler, Idaho; and Melissa Stepansky and her husband, Larry, Freeland; and four great-grandchildren, Blake and Lindsey Pahler, Idaho; and Larry Jr. and Nathan Stepansky Freeland; his brother, Louis Pastina, Brooklyn, NY; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from McCu-ne Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Mountain Top, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jude's Church.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Hanover Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
