Church Decorated The decoration in Byzantine style was performed by the decorator, Walter Boettcher, Brooklyn, N. and this work was completed in 1945. Former assistant pastors under Father Mhley were: Fathers Alexander Bobak, Michael Miyo, William Sabo, Myron Horvath and Paul Waselus. Father Mhley was called to his reward in January, 1954.

After the death of Father-Mhley, Rev. Waselus became temporary administrator. In March, 1954, Rev. Kallok was appointed pastor and served efficiently until September, 1956. He has since been elevated to the rank of Domestic Prelate, with the title of Very Reverend Monsignor and is at present editor of the Byzantine Catholic World, the Diocesan newspaper.

Father Kallok was succeeded by Rev. Paul Firczak in September, 1956, who served the parish until 1958. During Father Firczak's pastorate, he excelled in the ad-; ministration of his office, and made many major repairs to the1 church exterior. He succeeded his brother. Rev.

Under his continued guidance, and with the aid of the hard-working newly elected board of trustees and all the faithful, additional land was purchased for the school, parish house and cemetery. City Student Queried After Seeking Fight A Hazleton High School student was questioned by West Hazleton police yesterday after the boy allegedly motored around the borough high school at noon "looking for a fight." The city student invited several West Hazleton pupils to participate in a fight'in downtown Hazleton at 11 p. m. yesterday, police said. Investigation of the boy, who also was i questioned by Hazleton High School officials, is continuing, the borough authorities said.
