Mrs. Mabel Prutzman has returned to her home in Tacoma, after an extended vacation with relatives in town and vicinity.

William Caswell escaped with but slight injuries when he fell at his home on Towanda street Saturday. Rev. and Mrs. Paul Munion and family of Freehold, N. were guests at the home of Mrs.

Mary Deal on Towanda street. Rev. Munion is a former minister of the Methodist Church here. David Shupp of Sciota, who has been spending his vacation with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.

Eugene Shupp on Wilkes-Barre has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Brae-mert and daughter, Valerie, of Long Island, N. are spending their vacation with her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Max Miller on Buffalo street. James Roushey of Brooklyn, N. is a guest with Mr. and Mrs.

Paul Hosier and daughters in Derinison Township. Raymond Specht and daugther of Philadelphia, were the guests of his mother, Mrs. Oscar Specht on Wilkes-Barre street, during the week. Mr. and Mrs.

Phillip Jacoby and daughter of Easton, and Mr. and Mrs. John Mattie and son, were entertained at the home of their parents 'on Wilkes-Barre street this week. Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Faylor and family of Fort Velvar, spent this week with his parents in the Methodist parsonage on Towanda street. The faculty of St. Patrick's parochial school have announced the opening of the school term for 1951-52 on Wednesday, Sept. 5th. Mrs.

Andrew P. Maloney, executive director of the Catholic Charities, a Red Feather Service, is a member of a committee which is sponsoring a national broadcast on problems of the aged at 7:30 p. m. Saturday. The program will be presented by the National Broadcasting Company over WNBC, New York.

It was prepared in cooperation with the Federal Security Administration and is the weekly documentary entitled, "Living 1951." The sponsoring committee, of which Rev. Maloney is a member, is the Committee on Aging and Geriatrics of the FSA. For the Care of the Aged, Hazle-ton Catholic Charities offers an in-tegrated program of case work services, friendly visiting, geriatrics and institutional and boarding home facilities. The institutions for the aged of Catholic Charities are Saint Michael's Residential Home in Tamarrua and Malonpy Memorial Home for the Aged in Scranton.
